QPICs, a newly established foundry dedicated to advancing Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) based quantum technology, will present a session on our fast-turn PIC fabrication service at Optica’s upcoming Quantum Industry Summit.
The conference will take place at the Scottish Events Campus in Glasgow, Scotland on June 16-17, 2026.
Our Founder and CEO, Chris Myatt, will participate in a session titled “The Quantum Chip Foundry and Materials Perspective” at 1:30 PM on Day 2, June 17. He will be joined by Mohssen Moridi, Executive Senior Director at Silicon Austria Labs; Milan Begliarbekov, Chief Operating Officer at QCi Foundry; and Daniel Brau, Chief Executive Office at Mireax.
The panelists will discuss how both chip fabrication capabilities and advanced materials platforms are becoming critical enablers for the transition from lab prototype to scalable quantum products. They will explore the challenges and opportunities in producing quantum-grade photonic, superconducting, and hybrid chips, going over topics like process integration, defect control, packaging considerations, yield optimization, and supply chain readiness.
Myatt will also attend the associated Optica Quantum 2.0 Conference from June 15 – 18. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting to discuss your PIC fabrication needs, please reach out!
